Likes:
1) She likes to eat good food. Seriously, she would become horrendously fat if she didn't just burn away all the calories with her fire energy. 2) Aine likes to sing, and she is a very good singer. 3) The phoenix also likes to fly as there is no more greater freedom than to fly freely through the skies.
Dislikes:
1) Aine dislikes the cold darkness. 2) The cold is also something she doesn't like. A phoenix does not like to freeze their feathers off. Which is why they usually make the area around them much hotter than it should be. 3) The regal female does not like chaotic evil characters or those who wish harm onto herself.
Fears:
As mentioned above she dislikes the darkness, but she also fears it. Aine was born in darkness where there was no light. When she arrived to the world as a hatchling she found everything good in the light. Whereas everything bad in this world seems to be cloaked in darkness. She fears that eternal cold dark realm of purgatory. Where the law of kill or be killed reigns supreme.

Accessories:
Aine has a pair of diamond claws that strap onto her own talons. They help her to inflict more damage onto her opponents as the middle finger nails at the tips are three times as long as her own. She has to use diamond claws because her flame will disintegrate any other metal or mineral used. She also likes to wear a diamond helmet to protect her head and neck

Abilities

Strengths: Aine is a stamina freak. She can take a lot of hard hits from her enemies, as long as its not a killing blow, and get right back up again ready to fight. What she lacks in strength she makes up for in stamina as well as speed. Being a bird, she can fly faster than any legged creature of the earth. Dragons, wyverns, and other birds are the only real competition she has in the skies. Many other flying creatures are actually faster than she is, falcons for example, and many if not all of the wyverns. Dragons she can compete with more easily because they are slow and bulky.
Weaknesses: Lack of oxygen can very quickly and easily kill the phoenix. If you were to kill her in this fashion then keep her ashes in a vacuum sealed container she would not be able to revive herself until oxygen mixes into the air. This is because her egg or ashes need to catch fire once more to revive herself. Once Aine is killed she burns to ash. The ash and charcoal collects at the bottom where a small black egg then sits waiting to hatch. Water can also injure the phoenix, but there has to be a lot of it to kill her because of how hot her fire burns. If there is not enough water to extinguish her fire the heat of the flames will evaporate the water away. Even if her flames are extinguished she can survive in her base bird form. To kill her outright you have to lop off her head, stab her in the heart, and cut her in half; you know the basic ways to die. Drowning her is also a good idea since she can't swim. Again if she is drowned and her egg is kept under water it would not be able to hatch until someone moved it onto land (or blew air bubbles onto it.) A fire extinguisher would also do wonders to put out her flames. Salt, believe it or not, can also put out her flame if you have enough of it. Unfortunately you would need something like two five gallon buckets of salt just to put her flames out though.
Special Abilities:
Aine can surround herself in flames. While in this state anything she touches that will melt in 520 degree F fire will smolder away. Her flames are not the hottest. On a scale of flame color versus its heat Aine's purple colored flames are not very intense. She is about a quarter as hot as the strongest flame bearing creatures.
Combat style:
  Aine will fight using both her beak, claws, flames, and lastly her feathers. Let me explain... Obviously her own claws are very good at slashing and gripping at her targets. Aine's diamond fitted pair of weapons, if she was wearing them at the time, are better for gripping, tearing, slashing, and stabbing at her enemies. When she fights her claws will either be used to go after their face or to grip onto them while she burns them alive. Her beak is similarly used in a fight; where she will attempt to pluck out her enemies eyes or stab them repeatedly.
  Her flames, should she decide to turn them on, can spread from her own body to another if they touch the target. Then the target simply burns until they 1) turn to charcoal, 2) run to water or 3) try to stop drop and roll. She has to physically move in close to do this though and it can be dangerous for her should someone have a long range or just a long weapon like a sword to attack her with. While her flames would normally melt the steel it takes a good minute for steel to begin melting, so a sword thrust at her flaming form could go right through her flames to strike her.
  Lastly her feathers. Normally they are attached to her body, and they turn into flames whenever she decides to use them. However, Her feathers around her tail and along her wings are fast growing. When she loses a feather they grow back the next time she turns her flames on. Alternately, she can purposely lose her feathers by using them as sharp fiery weapons. By flinging the feathers along her wings or tail either while they are on fire or not, they become sharp needle-like darts or daggers. This is the only long range weapon that Aine has.

History

History:
   Aine had been born from an egg like all who claim the phoenix species as blood. However where she came from and who her parents are are of a total mystery to the elegant bird. For when she hatched she was completely and utterly alone on some god forsaken mountain as tall as the skies were wide. The bird didn't eat a thing while watching the world pass her by on that mountain top. Instead she grew into a fine female phoenix. She learned to use her flames a top that cold mountain. When she had had enough for the cold up there she let loose her fire and warmed the peak of the mountain.

She didn't know that her mountain was actually a dormant volcano. One year the thing began to shutter and shake. Loose rock around the mountain cascaded down in deadly rock slides. Where snow enveloped the mountain avalanches occurred. She stayed at the peak scared as her world crumbled around her. The bird had not learned to fly yet, even though she had been alive for many years now, and she was afraid to leave the lonely home she had known since birth.

When the volcano finally erupted Aine was blown clear off the mountain and towards the surrounding forests. As she was falling the female had learned to fly quickly so as not to experience her first death while being impaled on tree branches. Luckily instinct took over and she managed to fly away from the crumbling volcanic mountain.

She traveled then, going to different places and experiencing many things. She had much freedom in her younger years before something happened that changed her life entirely.

She was found by another phoenix.

The male bird was very old, and asked her to come with him to his home where others of their kind lived. She excitedly agreed hoping to find her parents. Instead she found a kingdom where the leaders of the immortal birds stayed. Not many of their kind really lived in this place, instead roaming freely throughout all the lands. However they did meet in the kingdom once every fifty years to convene and speak about the current times.

Aine soon learned that the current king of the phoenix's had ordered all females to be brought to him. For he was young and had close relations to most of the females already living under his rule, and he needed a new queen since the previous queen (who was mate to the previous king) had tried to have him drowned in the ocean. In the end Aine had become his wife and queen of the phoenixes, a task she found hard to do at first. As time went on though she grew accustomed to the power and nobility of her position.

However as queen she could not leave the sanctuary that held their kingdom. So she lost all the freedom she had before being brought to the king.

Another depressing thing was that she still didn't find her parents. None came forward to claim her.

Still, she did her duty and helped with important matters that came up during her first meeting. The former queen also tried to have Aine killed more than once, her last attempt had actually killed the king and, ironically, he was drowned as an egg in the deepest part of the ocean trench. After that Aine continued to rule. She had the former queen locked in a glacier of the frozen lands. Then Aine continued to rule as the years went by.

Only 9 years ago, after 78 long years of ruling the phoenixes, Aine had been killed by a dragon and her egg quickly sealed into a crystal by magic. Since then Aine has stayed, stuck in this crystal until someone breaks, melts, or puts a crack into it freeing her. Now she waits for her savior to free her.

(She as a character is literally stuck inside a crystal for now, so expect strange one time posts from me in various threads as this crystal is moved by the elements, or by other creatures)


Rp Sample: (I just grabbed one from the dragon role play if that is okay)
Her strong jaws crunched and cracked apart the large antlers of the elk. Once those long sharp pointed things were out of the way she would be able to easily swallow the elks body whole. Though Rii took her time crunching up the antlers because a lot of calcium could be absorbed from the marrow as well as other necessary nutrients.

Once she finished up the antlers and swallowed the bits and pieces, the shining green dragon moved her snout in front of the elk. Her muzzle, running parallel with the elks own nose, opened up to grab the beasts head in her jaws. Then she dislodged her lower jaws so that she could swallow the large prey item. Her lower jaws slid between the earth and the elks body as she slowly but surely inched her mouth around and over the widest part of the things shoulders. Once she got past that it was easier to eat, and her jaws worked quickly to push the food down her throat. Her neck muscles did the rest of the work for her, and soon the body of the elk slid into her stomach as Rii straightened herself out. She was heavy and although she could fly if she needed to the woman would rather hide herself away someplace safe from danger.

First the she dragon looks around making sure that no other dragons were around. All she spots is an eagle soaring high over head. The bold creature irked Rii as her eyes narrow onto its proud form. She wanted to kill it, but in her current condition she decided not to even bother trying. No, she wanted to be lazy for a while, content with a full belly inside of a warm den. That wouldn't happen until she managed to dig herself a tunnel to rest in.

At a good pace Rii chose a spot between two large rock outcrops and began digging. The entrance would be as wide as her shoulders to allow room for her wings to flatten against her sides. Most of the tunnel would be rather thin, only wide enough for certain lean dragons like herself to get through. For now though the female had only dug about three feet into the ground while listening and scenting the air for danger.

Anyway I'm assuming she's leader and what if someone kept her in one of the conditions for years so her tribe thingy had to get a new leader then she finally came out and they thought she was gone so then she *Maybe* became leader again
